Organization

Haugesund municipality performs a wide range of services for city residents. To ensure the efficient operation of the society's funds, are Haugesund municipality organized by two administrative management level. The upper level is the chiefs management team, while level two consists of 41 units and three support units.

Chief Odd Henry Dahle and his team of municipal presidents Stål A. Alfredsen, Tore Haaland and Sissel Hynne constitute the central leadership, and has the overall responsibility for the services the municipality performs.

The daily operation of municipal services to residents carried out by 41 different units, while three support units provide the common functions of the organization requires. The leaders of each unit has personal and an independent budget responsibility.

The Servicecenter is the council's central point of contact to citizens.
