All students should have a doctor in the city they live most of the time, therefore, encourage Haugesund strongly that all immigrant students find a doctor here.
Health Fund
Student Association has created the Health Fund. You can apply for support if you have large expenses due to illness, injury or disability. There may be expenses for deductibles at the doctor and psychologist visits, screen shots, blood tests, the deductible on blue prescription, purchase of glasses, contact lenses, dental treatment, fysikalsk-/kiropraktor- treatment, transportation, residential school after injury (physician referral), etc.
GPs
Family doctor system is established to provide the largest possible maximum GP services. You can freely choose between GPs with excess capacity on their lists.
