Health and Welfare

The Health and Welfare sector offers a wide range of services. Citizens in need of assistance from the local authority can contact their nearest Health and Welfare office, which will offer advice and assistance, and also determine what services you are entitled to.

The aim of the Health and Welfare offices is to ensure that every citizen has equal acces to the health and welfare services regardless of age, needs, or place of residence in Haugesund

The Health and Welfare offices can also assign the following services:

  • Health care for kids
  • Medical services
  • School Health
  • Nursing homes
  • Home Care
